- Sense-certainty (Germ. “die sinnliche Gewißheit”) The basic knowledge that one is conscious of sensing an object: Hegel starts the process of becoming self-conscious with this moment/mental state.
- Absolute Knowledge (Germ. “das absolute Wissen”) The genuine understanding of onself and one’s position the world that comes from following the path described in the Phenomenology.
